Skilled migrants from outside the EU currently need to have a job offer with a minimum salary of £30,000.
But the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) said it should fall to £25,600 for all workers to help recruit teachers and skilled NHS staff. The drop would enable more medium-skilled workers to qualify. Read more

It is good for the country and organisation who depends on immigrant workers including the government. UK depends highly on immigrant when it comes to skilled work force. From construction, teachers to health and other sectors lacks skilled workers from within the UK. So the government needs to lower down the salary threshold as it is very high for most organisation. If the salary is brought down they will be able to fill those lacking roles.
Yeah but Mada did you see how they treated the Windrush descendants who came to build the country after the world war? They may need it but they dont respect them. Those immigrants are better off building their own nations. I know its easier said than done when those leaders are nothing but puppets for the west.
