China is well known for their beliefs that hard work pays. So they get their kids from an early age to start grinding for that Gold Medal. This year their hard work made history with Bingtian SU being only the 2nd asian in history to be in the 100m Final! The race was eventually won by Italy's Lamont Marcell Jacobs.
Some may disagree but I guess hard work can really pay off, it may seem harsh but its better than taking performance enhancement drugs right? Better than obesity epidemic right?
Check out the pics below, hopefully it would motivate you to get a work out too!

wow
Na too much. I agree with starting early to an extent but thats just over the top Kids at that age are still developing physically and mentally and still need to make sure they have a childhood. Too much, Too strict....
@Ilovethingsthatmeow🐱❤️ i agree. There are better ways to do that. Other countries chart well in the medal tally and dont do that.
@Ilovethingsthatmeow🐱❤️ i get it but behind the scenes the olympics is gruesome for everybody. They push themselved really hard and some get so desperate they take banned substances which makes the games look bad.
@Window Pain but thats simply not true. Its just not advertised that way.
Well every country has their own way of doing things. In the end they perform well at the olympics, at least they wont be in the park sitting around smokin doing nothing with their lives.
Its alien to us but china has its own way of doing things. Its worked for them they have been booming for sometime. Despite the recession, political friction and pandemic.
There is no cute way to get into the olympics, the olympics is an endurance test to the body and only those who can endure make it to the elysium of champions. Its either that or get caught with drugs...like Russia the whole country got banned.
@Organikuh Viper! 💯 its not cute at all.
Its advertised like that to make families feel comfortable when watching. But nothing with that much talent comes without serious hard work. Its an everyday gruesome process, I love snow boarding and everyone else who does always talks about how much they love Lindsey Vaughn and look at alll the stuff she dealt with? How many broken bones was it again? Right am i right.
All the cute stuff is just those who sit on the couch and watch dont feel bad and tell themselves they just were not lucky enough to be born with the talent and buy a sponsored energy drink that will make you feel like an athlete for 2mins lmao.
When the truth is, you just didnt put in the work.
This is how racist theories like black 100m runners are quick due to slavery exist. Youre creating the notion that just because of genetics someone woke up got dressed went to the races and won...
Anything worth anything is going to take hard work. This is the harsh but reality. Its just not shown in the media. The medias job is to the sell the games, their products, the sponsors products and get views.
I agree. Its a hard grind and only a few will make it. Even after the broken bones, the strain on personal life, finances and families. Its crazy but it must be even more crazy getting to the top after all of it. Must keep them grounded... i hope. More so than others who achieve and forget theyre humble begins.
In terms of the last point. Under achievers on the couch watching like you stated, are going to have to say something but those same people will say its in the past when it comes to making amends. So on that basis their point is irrelevant.
