No not because you didnt pay the bill. Its because of new technology, more and more people use mobiles. Not sure how this would work for some businesses because some still do. I know that some use VOIP lines which is run by the internet anyway, I guess that will be the switch that change everything. Crazy no more phone lines. Wow
End of an era, i was worried about the old pensioners but when i go out, i see them using their phones so I feel better about this tech going now. Nobody uses it. Plus the pandemic pushed boundaries for everyone in terms of their aptitude in using technology so I think the time is right.
But as you say VOIP lines are a good replacement.
@Organikuh Viper! Yeah its Voip or cloud lines here in Japan. The lines just work on the internet but there is still alot of people on the old hard lines.
Why do you guys call it Landline over there in the UK?
